HOME
INSPECTIONS
The home inspection is typically a function of the
real estate transaction but can benefit either the seller
or the buyer. If you are the seller and are preparing
to enter the market, consider having your home inspected
prior to listing it.
The probability that your buyer will inspect your home
is high so why not find out about any problem issues ahead
of time. This will give you ample time to correct any
deficiencies before they threaten the sale of your home.
If you are a buyer and are not familiar with what to
look for when shopping for a new home, then a Sunbelt
home inspection could save you many thousands of dollars
in unforeseen repairs after you move in. All inspections
are conducted in accordance with the National Association
of Certified Home Inspectors Standards of Practice (Click
Here To View). The inspection is very thorough and
will reveal most defects in the house to include the
roof, grounds, structure, electrical, plumbing, air
conditioning, heating and ventilation systems. It will
also detect defective and obsolete materials such as
knob and tube wiring.
The report is a comprehensive 25 page document complete
with digital pictures and a summary page or "punch
list" of any major discrepancies noted. The report
will be bound in a 3 ring binder with an electronic
copy made available to you on either a compact disc
or as an e-mail attachment.
